Challenge
Section titled “Challenge”Postman’s business culture prioritized development speed over planning, and design documents were often rare and sparse. I usually had 1-2 weeks to learn and document a feature based on JIRA ticket descriptions and short video demos.
Solution
Section titled “Solution”Developed an information-gathering workflow by monitoring Slack channel and building relationships with key developers, project managers, and product managers. Used browser-based development tools and console commands to access hidden feature-flag menus in the beta environment for hands-on testing during development.
